They gave us the leading search engine, Chrome, Android, this new Eye Thing. Sometimes, in my sleep-addled mind, I think that Google is secretly controlled by time travellers (from the year 10100 A.D. naturally) who have come to make our world into the Future that we were promised back in the 50s.
